I would say that one of my New Year’s resolutions is to blog more frequently… but I don’t make New Year’s resolutions because I NEVER KEEP THEM!! Maybe I’ll do a wee bit better though.

Just a little FYI ~ Unless you are interested in a wedding photographer, I am booked for the Spring/Summer of 2010. This was a VERY hard decision to make, but seeing as how God has blessed me with ample weddings so far this year, I will not be booking any regular sessions for the Spring/Summer. I am tossing around the idea of doing one week this Spring of nothing but mini sessions – just because I’m gonna miss all my regulars! Keep checking back for info on that. May do one in the Fall as well. Email me or comment if you are interested though. My final decision will be based on interest.

What a refreshing session this was! The oldest little girl was just wonderful with my camera – or at least I thought so. And quite the Daddy’s girl, might I add. There is just something about a little girl who dotes over her daddy – just melts my heart. Maybe it’s because my girls are such Daddy’s girls! Anyway, here are a few of my faves. Hope ya’ll enjoy!

2010 Sessions

Ssoooo, I’m seriously thinking and praying about my schedule for the upcoming 2010 year…

I have been so incredibly bogged down this Fall with sessions, weddings, rainouts and reschedules. And normally, that in itself is enough to keep me on my toes, but having added homeschooling to the mix, it has just been flat out INSANE around here!!!! It is getting to that point where something has to be altered somewhat, and I’m thinking that it’s gonna have to be in the area of taking pictures.

I AM booking now for 2010 sessions. At this time, I will ONLY be scheduling ONE session a week while my husband is home and TWO per week while he is gone. That totals up to approximately 6 sessions per month. And I may book half that during the months I have weddings. So, having said that, if you’re thinking you want pictures for 2010, you’d better go ahead and contact me pretty soon. There will be absolutely NO exceptions to the rules this year.

Okay, I KNOW, I’m HORRIBLE at posting on my blog. So very sorry that I don’t keep up with this like I should. But, in my defense, I have about a million and ten other things going on and it’s HARD to get it all lined out!!! Anyway, enough excuses. A couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to meet up with my cousin, Drew, and his fiance, Calley, to do a few engagement shots for them. We had a great time exploring some new sites in West Monroe. Or at least new to me cuz I don’t get over that way to photograph too often!

I can hardly believe this little one is TWO! Gosh, how time flies… I have thoroughly enjoyed photographing Harper and his mommy and daddy. Hopefully we will have some photo sessions with his baby sister, who is on her way very soon!
